Prime Essence publishes practical wellness guides. Health writing is easy to get wrong and easy to fake, so this page sets out plainly who writes it, where the information comes from, what this site will not do, and how it pays for itself.
Who writes this
Prime Essence is written by one person, under the name Elena Hart. I am not a doctor, a dietitian, a dermatologist or a trainer, and I do not claim any clinical credential. What I do have is a low tolerance for wellness advice that falls apart the moment you check its source, and the patience to read the research myself.
Writing under a pen name is a privacy choice, not a way of dodging accountability. Every post carries the same byline, the same email address and the same standards, and corrections come back to me.
How topics are chosen
Topics come from the questions people actually search for and save — what to do after a bad night’s sleep, how to start retinol without peeling, what a realistic beginner workout looks like. I write about a topic when there is enough solid evidence to say something honest about it. When the evidence is thin, the post says so rather than filling the gap with confident-sounding guesses.
How posts are researched
Claims about health, nutrition and skin are checked against primary and institutional sources: the National Institutes of Health and its Office of Dietary Supplements, USDA FoodData Central, Harvard Health, the Cleveland Clinic, the American Academy of Dermatology, Cochrane reviews and peer-reviewed trials. Those sources are linked inline so you can read them yourself instead of taking my word for it.
Where a number appears — grams of protein in a serving, weeks until a visible result, a dose used in a trial — it comes from a named source, and the post says what kind of study it came from and how strong that evidence is. Where researchers disagree, the post says they disagree. “We don’t know yet” is an acceptable answer here.
I do not copy text, tables or photographs from other blogs, and I do not republish content from elsewhere.
How AI tools are used
I use AI tools the way I use a spellchecker, a search engine and an outliner: to draft, restructure and tighten. They do not decide what this site publishes. Every claim, every number and every source is checked by me against the original source before a post goes live, and the final wording is mine. A post that an AI tool wrote and nobody verified would be exactly the kind of content this site exists to be an alternative to.
Photographs and illustrations are either my own or generated specifically for this site. Before-and-after photographs, where they appear, are my own and are not retouched to exaggerate a result.
What this site is not
Nothing on Prime Essence is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and nothing here is a substitute for talking to a professional who knows your history. That matters most if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, managing an existing condition, or making decisions for a child.
This site does not sell supplements, does not run “detox” or cleanse content, does not promise weight-loss results, and does not publish sponsored posts dressed up as editorial.
Corrections and updates
If something here is wrong, out of date, or reads as more certain than the evidence supports, tell me at hello@theprimeessence.com and I will check it against the source. Factual corrections are made to the post itself rather than quietly deleted, and posts are revisited when the underlying guidance changes. Each post shows the date it was published or last updated.
How Prime Essence makes money
Two ways, both disclosed. Some product links are Amazon affiliate links: if you buy through one, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Products are chosen on the evidence and on what is widely available, not on commission rate, and a product being in the shop is not an endorsement of any health claim on its packaging.
This site also carries third-party display advertising. Advertisers have no say in what gets written, no sight of posts before publication, and no influence on which products are recommended. Full details are in the disclaimer and affiliate disclosure and the privacy policy.
Contact
